He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Cheri Converse; and his brother Douglas M. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Joan Brown (Hatfield); and his children, Susan VanEssen (Richard), Cheryl Converse (Jack), Steven Brown and Scott Brown (Laura). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church in his memory.
