He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kathy Herman and Daryl Hamler. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hamler (Despard); his children, Charlene Gassman (David) and Timothy Hamler (Margaret); his grandchildren, Stephanie Steger (Jason), Travis Gassman (Emma Hallett), Carolann and Christopher Hamler; and his brother James Hamler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
