He was predeceased by: his father Lewis E. Potter; his sister Cynthia Gilbert; and his grandparents, Howard, Bernice Hanna, Andrew and Gertrude Potter.
He is survived by: his children, Noah, Ryan, Jake and Alexa Potter; his mother Judy Potter; and his brother Jeffrey Potter (Deborah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
