With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl R. Johnston of Avon, New York, born in Warsaw, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carl left this world on February 2, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnston and Jane Johnston (Lacey); and his brother Clifford Johnston (Roxanne) of Brockport. He is survived by: his close friend Norma Pellegrino of Avon; his daughter Lacey Johnston of Avon; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jack, Owen and Hayden; his brothers, Bill Johnston (Judy) and Donald Johnston (Louana); his extended family, April Payne (Matt), Michael Pellegrino (Samantha), Matthew Pellegrino (Samantha), Alex, Shelby, Wyatt and Mikayla; and his close friend Mike Altonberg.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
