She was predeceased by: her husband Robert J. Macartney. She is survived by: her children, Robert Macartney of East Amherst and Susan Stillings of Avon; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Stephen Johnson, Caralyn, Elizabeth and Robert Macartney; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Johnson and Emma Lyn Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Avon Free Library, 143 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414.
