She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Armstrong and Ida Bernice Armstrong (Morehouse); her sister Joan Shill Graves (Armstrong); and her granddaughter Sara Beth Schoonmaker. She is survived by: her brother Richard Armstrong (Lynn); her children, Pamela Schoonmaker (Ted) of Lexington, N. C., Terry Massey (David) of Atlanta and Gregory MacDougal (Pam) of Charlotte, N. C.; her grandchildren, Natalie Chaney (John), Samantha Steuber (Chris) and Scott MacDougal; and her great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Roman Chaney and Kaje Steuber. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
