As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Kendig and Mary Shireman Kendig; her stepmother Lizzie Miller Kendig; and her husband Edward Clayton Frey. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Hope, Edward Frey (Sandy) and Jacqueline Palmer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Wallace Wesleyan Church (9079 Church St, Avoca, NY 14809). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the same location.
