He was predeceased by: his parent Clifford Whiting; and his son Mark Decker. He is survived by: his parent Emma Whiting (Rhinehart); his significant other Bonnie Miller; his son Mike Whiting (Sandra) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Corinne Gribble (Kasey) and Nora Whiting; his great grandchild Karter; and his siblings, Patricia Hagerty of Sanibel and William Whiting (Margery) of Avoca.
