He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Bennett and Barbara Bennett (Wilkins). He is survived by: his sons, Brian Bennett (Mathilda) of Fremont and Brandon Bennett of Hornell; his siblings, Christine Kanaval of Florida, Kathleen Hendee (Sam) of Arkport, Lee Bennett (Theresa) of Canaseraga, Sandy Brokaw (Greg) of Canandaigua and David Bennett (Penny) of Arkport; and his granddaughters, Mackenzzie Barrett, Jenna Barrett and Kaylee Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
