He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Ribble and Shirley Ribble; and his daughter-in-law Andrea Schwartz (Frances A. Elliott). He is survived by: his wife Sally Nisbet; his children, Tabitha Stevens of Penn Yan, John A. Ribble Jr. of Kane, PA, Rachel Stahl of Bath and Stephanie Kirkland (Chris) of Orlando, Fla; his stepson Chris McDougal (Candice) of Avoca; his siblings, James Ribble Sr. of Penn Yan, Gloria LaRue of Howard, Jeffrey Ribble Sr. of Bath and Carl LeRoy Ribble of Bradford; and his pets, Brody, Mama Belle and Speckled Trout. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (17 W Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the HIS Tabernacle Family Church (16 Level Acres Dr, Horseheads, NY 14845).
