He was predeceased by: his father William Clifton; his child Wendelin Link; and his brother Dwight Link. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Scism Link; his children, William C. Link II and Susan Link (Douglas Pataki) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, William C. Link III, Matthew Link, Todd and Gerad Wolcott; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Wolcott.
