She was predeceased by: her parents, Hinson M. Barfield and Helen "Patricia" Combs; and her brother Larry G. Barfield. She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Wright; her sons, Robert J. Wright, Jr. (Joelle) and Justin M. Wright (Meghan Fitzpatrick); her siblings, Stephen R. Barfield, Forrest Hollaway, Shack Halloway and Kathy M. Gibson; and her granddaughters, Monica J. Shultz (Brian), Haley M. Wright and Alexis L. Wright.

Due to continued health concerns, the family asks that those attending the gathering at Jackson's be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
