She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Ries and Veronica Reddy Ries; and her sister Karen Embro. She is survived by: her husband Michael J. La Scala; her children, Shane M. La Scala of Rensselaer and Crystal L. LaScala of Averill Park; her siblings, Stewart Ries of Maryland, Ellen Brunkner, Patricia Ries of Long Island, Linda Ries, Christine Pardo of Florida and Margarite Gamewell of Texas; and her grandchildren, Jordan LaScala, Venessa Rider, Bret, Chance, Angelina LaScala and Jason Figueroa Jr.. She is also survived by her family, grandchildren and friends.
