With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Biittig (Averill Park, New York), born in Sand Lake, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Biittig and Eva Antoniak Biittig; and his brothers, Joseph Biittig Jr. of South Bethlehem, NY and Walter Biittig of Cohoes, NY.. He is survived by: his nephew Kyle Hoffman; his sons, Jeffrey Biittig (Tracy) of Charlotte, NC and Michael Biittig (Ann) of Averill Park, NY.; his grandchildren, Molly, Evan, Ben and Ryan Biittig; his siblings, Edward Biittig (Betty) of Duansberg, NY, Barbara Fournier (Al) of North Greenbush, Linda Biittig of Poestenkill, Joanne Hoffman (Richard) of Averill Park, NY and Irene Mieczkowski (Michael) of Averill Park, NY; his sister-in-law Carolyn Biittig of Cohoes; and his pets, Sidney, Toto, Spike and Riley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
