He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rusin and Emilia Skura Rusin; his wife Jacquelyn Jazzo Rusin; his brother Eugene Rusin (Judith); and also Camilla Baniak Rusin Lundberg.

He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Rusin (Denny Brown) of Saranac Lake; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Calkins (James) of Pittsfield, MA and Colleen McGrath of Pittsfield, MA; and his grandchildren, Jack, Molly Trainor, Coral and Alina Brown.
