He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Schmid and Amelia Schmid (Romer); and his siblings, Dorothy Brokasch and John Schmid. He is survived by: his wife Theresa (Pszeniczny); his children, Carol Murray (Tom), Debra Brooks (Tom) and Raymond Schmid Jr.; his granddaughters, Sabrina, Bridget Loucks (Chad) and Heather; his stepgranddaughter Samantha Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Addison and Oliver.

Family and friends are invited to call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392NY150, PO Box 275West Sand Lake on Wednesday, September 08, 2021 from 11AM - 1PM followed by a celebration of Raymond's life at 1PM Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.
