Mildred Cooley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 100, Mildred Cooley (Averill Park, New York), born in New York Mills, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ziemian and Rosalia Tomasik; her husband Harry T. Cooley; and her daughter Linda McCauley. She is survived by: her stepfather John Poczatek; her family, Pamela Neary, Nancy Dorr (Mike), Mary Jo Janis (James) and Timothy Cooley; and her grandchildren, Sean Neary, Colleen Hensley, Jeffrey McCauley, Christa Dugan, Kelly Freeland, Jamie Palmer, Adam Janis and Taylor Janis. She is also survived by ses many nieces, nephews, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Henry's Church (39 Old Rte 66, Averill Park, NY 12081). A Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
