He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flavin and Agnes Flavin (Flanagan); his brother-in-law James Hankle; and his niece Bridget Maiello. He is survived by: his wife Doria Moore; his children, Danielle Flavin and John D. Flavin (Alisse); his granddaughters, Giselle Agnes Flavin and Loudon Alice Flavin; and his sisters, Anne Ahlborn (Richard), Mary Bump (Wayne), Patricia Maiello (Albert), Vivian Tomaski (John), Jacqueline Hankle, Michele St (Frenchie) and Helen Wicks (Bruce). He is also survived by twenty nieces and nephews.
