Maier Sr. of Averill Park, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Louise Schollhorn Maier and Margaret C. Kelly Maier; his children, Colleen Barkman (Dean), Wilma Mosley (Arthur), Sharon Finn (Fred), Ernest Maier Jr. (late Judy), Monica Hardy (Jim), Frank Maier (Pam) and Robert Maier (Meg); and his siblings, Helen Thomas (Anthony), Frances Yager, Dorothy Marschilok, Marie Kennedy, Paul and Anthony Maier. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughter.
In accordance with mandated guidelines, masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed. The Funeral Service will be private for the family.
