It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Oscar Rapke of Ava, New York, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marian E. Edwards; his children, Pam, Randy Hubbard, Linda, David and Barbara Rapke; his brother Edwin; his sisters-in-law, Estelle Rapke and Claire Edwards; his grandchildren, Sarah, Matt Eldfeldt, Caitlin, Chuck Cerny, Lindsay, Tom, Taylor Rapke, Matt Leggett, Jillian, Daryl Finn, Jenna, Brad Waters, Danielle, Shawn Finster, Josh Bowers and Morgan Weiler; and his great grandchildren, Brynn, Nate Eldfeldt, Allison, Hannah, Mallory, Luke, Jacob Cerny, Grace, Connor Finn, Camryn, Jackson Finster, Bryce and Ayden Waters.
