He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Paine and Jennie M. Peter Paine; and his siblings, Edith Pendrak, Beatrice Smith, Murl Oram, Norma Cook, Leland, Cletus, Norman, Harland and Harlow.

He is survived by: his son David; his daughter-in-law Cindy Paine of Ava; his sister Lamoine Ziankoski of Rome; and his grandchildren, Thomas D. and Nicholas A. Paine. He is also survived by several in-laws, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care.
