In the vast expanse of eternity, Roy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Roy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his son Douglas Potter. He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Lori Potter (Tami Krotje), Debby Carrig (Jack) and Michael Potter (Todd Gregory); his grandchildren, Ryan Carrig, Morgan Carrig and Henry Gregory Potter; and his friend Amber Krotje. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
