She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Gibbous and Harriet Gibbous (Beman); the father of her children Kennard Walter; her sisters, Florence Cook and Dorothy Raymond; and her nephew Stephen Cook.

She is survived by: her children, Tammie Jayne (Bruce), Kim Moon, Rene Smith and Kennard Walter; and her grandchildren, Richard Hahn (Tamara), Hahn Robson of Kansas, Sarah Hahn Jackson (Ryan), RJ Moon, Troy Smith, Selestra Smith, Syerra Taylor (Alex), KJ Walter and Jeanette Mahunik (Steve). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
