He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Coomber and Lula Mae Coomber (Robinson); his wife Susan Coomber (Zimmer); and his son Eric Coomber. He is survived by: his children, Alan Scott Coomber (Helene), Kristin Jenkins (Christopher) and Michael Coomber (Sarah Blair); his grandchildren, Brayden Coomber and Rosalynn Coomber; and his siblings, Barry Coomber (Ruth), Christine Flask (Louis), David Coomber (Geraldine Konzelmann) and Eleanor Farris (Steven).
