She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sandy and Grace Sandy (Smith); her husband Raymond Walters; the father of her children Michael Gregory; and her siblings, Robert Sandy, Jean Wenner, Joan Churney, Susanne Cornel and Clara Condes.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Gregory (Rosemary) of Auburn, Mary Ellen Tehan (Michael) of Guilderland, NY, Michele Hess (Larry) of Fleming, Marjorie Comer (Gregory) of Auburn and Lisa DeBois (Donald) of Throop; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Evans (Edward), Allyson Bottindari, Erin LaFleur (John), Michael Tehan (Holly), Jeffrey Tehan (Michelle), Christopher Hess (Jessica), Matthew Hess (Maura), Joseph DeBois (Sarah) and Nicholas DeBois (Terri). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
