He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F. Delaney and Ellen Doyle Delaney; his children, Michele Ryan (Tom) of Auburn, Lisa DePalma (Chris) of Geneva, Mary Wernecke (Bill) and Daniel of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Meghan Klimek, Stephanie Nervina, Danielle Martin, Lindsay DePalma, Christopher DePalma, Emma, Elena and Olivia Wernecke; and his siblings, John Delaney, Irene Flaherty, Helen Worden and Virginia Delaney. He was also cherished by six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
