With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Richard Wright of Auburn, New York, born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Wright and Barbara Wright; his son Jeffrey Wright; and his brother Wayne Wright. He is survived by: his wife Karen Wright (Dickinson); his son Christopher (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Zachary, Sarah and Caleb Wright of Auburn, NY.; his sister Bobbie Brown (David); his sister-in-law Jacquline Martin; his sister Stacy Schanhols; his brother-in-law Brent Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Sue and Ed Roberts.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Memphis, NY (1960 W Genesee Turnpike, Elbridge, NY 13060).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes Christian School, 2291 State Route 89, in Seneca Falls, NY.
