It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R House of Auburn, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur House and Beatrice House (Booth); his wife Kathleen House; his stepson Jay Wright; and his siblings, David House, Nancy Winch and Jean Easton.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Sanford, Charles House (Jennifer) and James House (Casey Derby); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Lasagna, Gary Pashley, Harold Pashley and Christopher Roth (Amy); his siblings, Robert House (Kathy Rushia), Ruth Pratt (Larry), Allen House and Steven House (Polly); his grandchildren, Tammy Quimby, Ryan Sanford, Samantha Whitt, Matthew Sanford, Dakota Sanford, Emilee House, Megan House, Tyler House, Alyssa House, Geena House, Chase House, Jackson Galka, Marisa House and Sophie House; and his great grandchildren, Arlyn Quimby, Bradly McCool, Serenity Sanford, Lauren Sanford, Dominic Whitt and Abigail Sanford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Auburn Alliance Church (630 N Seward Ave, Auburn, NY 13021). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in memory of James may be made to Auburn Alliance Church.
