We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2018, at the age of 87, Irene W. Hovey (Auburn, New York), born in Barneveld, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. and Ruth Roberts Wind; her spouse Louis M. Hovey, Jr.; her father-in-law Lois M.; her sisters, Murial Wilson (Wind) and Virginia Lennon (Wind); her brothers-in-law, John Wilson, Harold Lennon, Jr. and Ronald H. Hovey; and also Louis M. Hovey, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Thomas L. Hovey (Mary Jo White), James W. Hovey (Michelle Elmer) and Ruthann Tryka (Hovey); her grandchildren, Laura Van Laeken (Hovey), Melissa Witte (Hovey), Michael Hovey (Katherine), Patrick W. Hovey (Tamara), Nicholas Tryka, Joseph Hovey and Katherine Hovey; her brothers, Henry Wind of Englewood, FL and William Wind; her siblings-in-law, Gertrude Hovey of Holland Patent and Robert Hovey (Susan Davis); and also, John D. Hovey (Elizabeth Buffa) and Stephen R. Hovey (Nancy Sansevere). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
