We bid farewell to Gary R. Hurd (Auburn, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2024 at the age of 67. Gary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hurd and Elaine Wilson Hurd; his daughter Meghan; his brother Steven; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Myrtle Sharp.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sharp Hurd of Shepherd Road; his sons, Allen Hurd (Jennifer), Greg Hurd (Jessica), Craig Hurd (Holly) and Scott Hurd (Brandi); his grandchildren, Alec, Natalie, Kaitlynn, Collin, Olivia, Trevor, Jacob, Abby, Caleb and Noah; and his siblings, Frank Hurd, Richard Hurd, Darlene Smith (Russell), Deborah Hurd and Karen Hurd. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
