He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bertonica and Julia Bertonica (Cammilleri); his wife Vincenta Bertonica (Perone); and his siblings, Connie Wright and Frederick Bertonica.
He is survived by: his children, John F. Bertonica (Sandra) of Auburn, Donna J. Crowe (Bill) of Auburn and Frank Bertonica Jr. (Paula Barrera) of Skaneateles; his grandchildren, John Bertonica (Aubrey), Brittany (Kevin Gauthier), Christopher Bertonica, Donna McCoy (Brandon) and Tina Bertonica; his stepgrandson Brian Ranger; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Sophia McCoy, Collin and Zoey Ranger; and his brothers, Carmen Bertonica and Michael Bertonica (Laurie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
