It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Szot of Auburn, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Szot and Jenny Szot; and his daughter Shireen Szot. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; and his daughter Elizabeth.
In lieu of gifts the family is asking for donations to Hospice of Central NY and of the Finger Lakes or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
