He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Witter and Margaret Witter (Huntington); his sisters, Ernestine Smith, Ann Smith and Ruth Tarbox-Fulwider; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Hardman, Cecil Smith, Herb Smith, Stan Tarbox, Jim Fulwider and John Mullen.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Cornell); his children, Deb Witter-Gamba (Ron), Doug Witter (Claire) and Chris Witter (Peggy); his grandchildren, Josh, Jessica Witter, Ian, Sean and Evan Witter; his stepgrandson Chad Gamba (Rachel); his sisters, Ester Hardman, Bunny Gibson (Neil), Dora Mullen and Beth Slocum (Gordon); his close friends, Jeff, Cathy White and Bo; and also, Aliyah and Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
