We bid farewell to David L. Kowal of Auburn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 12, 2024 at the age of 84. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Justine Kowal (Fotinia Orysek) and Michael Kowal of Auburn; his wife Mary Catherine Desens (Cathey); and his sisters, Mary C. of Nicht's Garden, Julia, Helen (Robert Sage), Anastasia, Sophie (Joseph Berry), Elizabeth Blaisdell McDonald (Betty), Ann and Miriam Claire (Virginia).

He is survived by: his son Christopher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In honor of David's memory, donations (financial or outdoor garden supplies) may be made to the Commons on 3 St. Anthony Street in Auburn.
