He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary F. Sweet and Karen E. Smart (Merritt); and his brother Gary Sweet. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Sweet (VanDuyne); his siblings, Chris Sweet (Jennifer) and Amy Hastings; his stepparents, Fred Smart and Kathy Sweet; his nephew Collin Sweet; his nieces, Abagaile Sweet, Gabrielle, Emma and Rylee Hastings; and his close friends, Kevin, Claire Wallace and Tom Moskul.
