She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Thompson and Dorothy Coleman; and her husband Rodney Douglas, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Bryan Douglas (Heather) and Rodney Douglas, Jr. (Melissa); her grandchildren, Kaden, Marlie, Braxtin, Bailey, Jace and Khyler; her siblings, Laura McLean (Scott), Ernest Thompson and James Vassar (Toni); and her close friend Kelly Furnia.
