With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Gordon (Au Sable Forks, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Morhous and Francis Morhous; her husband Lawrence "Waxy" Gordon; and her son Ronald. She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Jim Votraw), Denise (Paul Gladue), Jon (Ellen Gordon) and David (Joey Gordon); her grandchildren, Karley Votraw, James Votraw (Jamie), Kelly Gordon (Santina), Randi Gordon (Jason Gilzene), Mackenzie Gordon, Kristin Bombard (Andrew), Kodi Gordon (Amanda), Austin Depo (Jess) and Carter Gordon; her brother Howard; and her sister-in-law Nancy Gordon. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home (3 College St, Au Sable Forks, NY 12912). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
