He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis E. LaPlant and Ruth F. LaPlant (McIntyre); his former wife Rose LaPlant (Wroblewski); and his siblings, Robert, Tina, Charles, Edward, Norman LaPlant, Judith Frieda and Alice Buckman.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Aggie" LaPlant of Atlanta; his children, Michael LaPlant of Wayland, Suzette McLoud, Corrine Zaman (Zia) of Long Island, Karon Ramos of East Rochester, Sharon Shanley, Willis LaPlant (Monique) of Atlanta, NY, Angel Laplant of Naples, Johnathan LaPlant of Atlanta, NY and Thomas Obrecht (Terri) of Wayland; and his sister Marianne Flammia of Shortsville. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild.
