She is survived by: her parents, Joan Miller (Groark) and Walter R. Miller Jr.; her sons, Oliver and Julien; and her siblings, Meghan, Jenny and Walter. She is also survived by her cousins and other extended family, and dear friends.

In memory of Kathryn and in lieu of sending flowers, her family asks for donations to be sent to Mount Tamalpais College, an independent liberal arts college in San Quentin, California, dedicated to educating incarcerated students.
