He is survived by: his brothers, Phil and Excavating; his girlfriend Donna Keck of Athol; his sons, Jamie Carpenter of Athol, Donald Carpenter, Jr. (Shelly) of Athol and Brian Carpenter; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Carpenter; his siblings, Ellen Connor, Edgar Carpenter (Sheila), William Carpenter (Lesley) and Richard Carpenter (Lisa); his brother-in-law Jack Sweet of Warrensburg; his grandchildren, Donald, Jeffrey, Zachary, Cameron, Izech and Ezekiel Carpenter; and his stepchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Tyson and Tammy Leombruno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
