In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Robert leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Hallsted and Frances Hallsted (Van Valkenburgh); his wife Arlene Hallsted; and his daughter Stephanie Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hallsted Jr., Caroline Holm, Joyce Moore, Douglas Griffin and Ina Griffin-Guilzon (David Guilzon); his sister Beverly Rose; his nephew Jeffrey Rose; and his niece Lisa Govel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. C. Brady Funeral Home (97 Mansion St, Coxsackie, NY 12051). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
