He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hoffmann and Ida Hoffmann (Ball). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Dr. Robert Hoffmann, Charles Hoffmann (Susan) and Kristin Boyle. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
