He is survived by: his children, Amanda Flanagan (Ryan) and Kya Sanson; his siblings, Rosalie Johnson (Gordon), Michael Flanagan, Joseph Flanagan (Zenna) and Barbara Palmateer (John); his granddaughters, Hadley Kellam and Lana Sanson; and his nieces and nephews, John, Jamie Palmateer, Christopher, Lindsey Johnson and Zachary Flanagan.
