Joan M. Surrano Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Surrano of Athens, New York, born in Catskill, New York, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Yannone and Charlotte Yannone (Rockerfeller); her husband John P. Surrano Sr.; her children, John P. Surrano Jr. and Carlene Mary Surrano; her brother Albert "Sonny" Yannone; and her close friend George H. Engelke.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Surrano, Sharon Phillips, Richard Surrano, Michael Surrano, Carrie Severance and Charlene Stanger; and her siblings, Doris Alix, John Yannone, Janet Burnsed and Thomas Yannone. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
