It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason P. Andrews of Athens, New York, born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, James Taranto and Philip Andrews. He is survived by: his parents, Sherri Dykeman of Athens, N. Y. and Kevin Andrews of Florida; his children, Jason J. Andrews and Jazmine E. Andrews; his brothers, Christopher Taylor, Kyle Stafford and Aaron Dykeman; his grandmothers, Margaret Taranto of Athens, N. Y. and Irene Andrews of Catskill, N. Y; his stepparents, Edward Dykeman and Suzy Andrews; his brother Joshua Pignotti; his girlfriend Denise Schaefer; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Taylor, Jr., Jacob Taylor, Caritey Taylor and Georgie Taylor. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend calling hours at The Richards Funeral Home, 28 North Vernon Street, Athens, N.Y. on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Jason's Family wishes and would appreciate donations in Jason's memory be made at The National Bank of Coxsackie, at the Athens branch, in Athens, N.Y. where a Trust Fund is being set up for his children.
