He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Pennisi and Rosa Pennisi; his brothers, Alfred, Joseph and Mike; and his grandsons, Alex and Luke.
He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Mary (Charlie), Phil (Lynn), Pete (Pam), Ann (Tom), Margaret (Rob) and Sarah (Jason); his grandchildren, Jeremy Redlich, Samantha Redlich, Aris Henderson, Jamie Ladd (Kim), Jessica Walsh (Lou), Brianna Muenkel, Daniel Muenkel (Meaghan), Gabby Ghimire (Saugat) and Zach Formica (Jenika); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Tianah, Adrianna, Colten and Boden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (24 N Washington St, Athens, NY 12015). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the TGM American Legion Post 187, 94 2nd Street, Athens New York.
