Brown of Pittsboro, NC, Paul and Jennifer Hoerning Baxley of Athens, GA; his grandchildren, Laura Hoerning Randolph (Jack), Olivia Hoerning Baxley, Maria, Caroline and Matthew Baxley; and his siblings, Eugene Hoerning (Elizabeth) of Catskill, NY and Ann Hoerning Withjack (Noel) of Athens, NY..

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Gastonia, NC.
