She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd W. Downey; and her siblings, Jeannette Alie, Doris Downey, Edward Bineau, Jacqueline Herd and Angeline Gosselin.

She is survived by: her children, John Downey (Sydni) of Kingston and Barbara Downey Ferst of South Hadley; her grandsons, Noal Downey of Athens and Andrew Downey of Portola Valley; and her friends, Bob Laverdiere and Barbara Laverdiere. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
