Bobbe Besecker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbe Besecker of Athens, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swartwood and Anna Strope Swartwood; her husband William "Bill" Besecker; and her sister Joan Nolan. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Swartwood of Milan; her pet Lulu; her children, Mike Besecker of Las Vegas, NV, Toney Besecker of Waverly, Sue LaFritz (Russell) of Waverly and Jodi Besecker of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Judy, Patrick, Stacey, Jason, Amy, Kipp, Christopher, Jeremy, Jennifer, Tandi and Max. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; along with several special nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sayre Christian Church (427 S Keystone Ave, Sayre, PA 18840).
