With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Waidelich of Astoria, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on March 11, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Giampietro and Josephine Giampietro (Grasso). She is survived by: her siblings, Katherine Redmond and Peter Giampietro; her son Butch; her husband Walter C. Waidelich; and her daughters, Joann Waidelich and Linda Meany (John). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
